We just got off a plane in the Yucatan Peninsula.
We are going to explore the Cenotes. (Underground rivers in Mexico
caused by rain. The rain would soak through the limestone floor and create rivers.)
We are in a cave!
I am standing in a cave, looking at a big freshwater lake. I am going to jump in now.
I am breathing underwater!
I can't believe it! I am swimming, and breathing underwater! I can't believe that the Maya would believe that this was the underworld! I mean, this place is so cool! There are so many fish and..........Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Oh, sorry. My sister just tried to make me believe she was a ghost.
